Ultrasound uses sound waves to produce images in real time, without radiation. It is central to both pregnancy care and gynaecological assessment.
We provide obstetric ultrasound for dating, growth and wellbeing; gynaecological ultrasound for assessing the uterus and ovaries, including fibroid mapping and follicle tracking during fertility treatment; and general ultrasound where clinically indicated.
What the process involves
- Referral or booking - Arranged through your clinician or directly.
- Scan - Performed on site, usually taking 15–30 minutes.
- Report - Findings explained and reported to your clinician.
